DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY

Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. This course provides a strong foundation in understanding the role of microorganisms in human health, industry, agriculture, and the environment.

 

Students gain knowledge in microbial structure, physiology, immunology, and disease-causing organisms, along with essential laboratory skills like microscopy, culturing, and sterilization techniques.

 

The program prepares students for careers in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food industry, research, and environmental management, while also building a pathway for higher studies in life sciences.
